Connecting To a Remote Computer

To connect to a remote computer add a new client to the client list.

(From the client menu choose add client or press the add button)

 

In the address input field type the machine name or IP address of the destination computer or press the browse button to look for a computer on your local network

 

·      Note that you can also type/select multiple computer names/IP’s please read the Add/Edit Client -> Address help section for more information on the subject .

 

In the redirection type input field choose the redirection type you require.

This will control what type of interaction you can have with the remote machine.

 

·      Note that if you wish to work on the remote machine as if you were working on it locally you should choose the remote machine screen type.

 

·      You do not need to enter a command(a command is only needed if you wish to run a remote process, see running a process on a remote computer section).

 

·      You can repeat the process and add as many clients as you need.
